Lightly steamed beech: neat grades for every project

Quality selections

CND quality : wide wood, free from knots, excellent for opaque finishing thanks to beautiful colour nuances.
1A grade
: uniform in color, very suitable for clear finishing. Both grades are generally available from short to very long runs.

Thicknesses : 27, 34, 41, 47, 52, 65 and 80 mm
Widths : both falling and fixed widths
Lengths
: 900 to 5000 mm. Custom dimensions can be supplied on request.

Drying & moisture care

After receipt, the sawn timber is taken to drying rooms, dried back to approximately 8–12 % KD, and checked via multiple moisture measurements per bundle.

Drying process of our wood

As soon as the wood arrives from the sawmill, the freshly sawn wood is first brought to the drying rooms. After the wood has been in the front carrier, the wood is further dried back to around 8-12% KD. Once from the drying rooms, several moisture measurements are taken per bundle to check the correct moisture percentage.
