Why choose oak panels?

Solid oak has long been known as a sustainable and stylish choice for interior design and furniture construction. At Total Timber, you'll find a carefully selected range of oak panels in grades A/B, A/C, and B/C, all ready for immediate use. Thanks to pre-glued panels, you don't need to process the rough wood: the wood is already glued and sanded on both sides.

Quality selection and specifications

Our oak panels are available in various visual qualities:

  • A/B: visible side in A-quality (minimal knots, calm appearance) and back in B-quality.

  • A/C / B/C: For applications where the back is less visible and more character is desired.
The standard size is 40 mm thick, approximately 650 mm wide, and lengths between 800 and 2000 mm. Other sizes are available upon request.

Available in any desired dimensions on request. The advantage of panels is that no rough wood needs to be processed. The wood is already glued and 2-sided sanded at thickness so that milling can be started immediately.

Advantages of our oak panels

  • Ready to use: because the panels are already glued and planed, you reduce the amount of work you do on rough wood.

  • Stable and reliable: the oak wood is artificially dried to approximately 8-12% moisture content and checked per bundle.

  • Widely applicable: suitable for furniture, worktops, interior elements or custom projects by professionals and wood specialists.

  • Sustainably produced: the wood comes from responsibly managed forests, with options for FSC® or PEFC certification.

Applications and customization

Whether you're manufacturing furniture, creating an interior design project, or looking for custom panels, our oak panels offer versatility and a versatile finish. Custom options allow for custom thicknesses, widths, and lengths, ideal for projects where standard sizes aren't sufficient.

Drying process of our wood

As soon as the wood arrives from the sawmill, the freshly sawn wood is first brought to the drying rooms. After the wood has been in the front carrier, the wood is further dried back to around 8-12% KD. Once from the drying rooms, several moisture measurements are taken per bundle to check the correct moisture percentage.
