This European oak wood species falls under the highest visual quality class, QF1A. The wood is free of defects and sapwood on 3 to 4 sides, with only minimal natural characteristics permitted. Specially selected for applications requiring a smooth and luxurious appearance. The planks are sourced from sustainably managed forests in countries including France, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. They are imported freshly sawn, FSC® or PEFC certified, and then kiln-dried to a moisture content of 8–12% for further processing.
The heartwood ranges in color from warm light brown to golden brown, with an elegant, even grain. Thanks to its flawless grading, this oak is ideal for visual applications with a clean finish. The growth rings are generally visible, yet subtle, creating a calm and timeless look.
