This European oak wood species falls under the highest visual quality class within QF1A. The wood is defect-free and sapwood-free on 3 to 4 sides, with only minimal natural characteristics permitted. Specially selected for applications where a uniform and luxurious appearance is desired. The planks originate from sustainably managed forests in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands, among others. They are imported freshly sawn, with FSC®or PEFC certification, and subsequently kiln-dried to a moisture content of 8–12% for further processing.
The heartwood ranges in color from warm light brown to golden brown, with an elegant, even grain. Thanks to its flawless grading, this oak is ideal for visual applications with a clean finish. The growth rings are generally visible, yet subtle, creating a calm and timeless look.
